Dr. Ravi Pachamoothoo
Chairman, SRM Groups
Shri. P. Ravi is the Chairman of SRM Groups, one of India’s most reputed educational institutions. Born on 15th March 1967, he is the son of Dr T. R. Pachamuthu, Founder and Chancellor of SRM Institute of Science and Technology, an Educationist, a Philanthropist and an Industrialist.
His mother, Smt.P. Easwari, is an Educationist and Treasurer of the Valliammai Society, intending to establish educational institutions. A Post Graduate in Literature, Shri. P. Ravi holds responsibility for SRM Groups’ Corporate Functions, including Finance, Strategy Management, Business Plan, Optimization of Resources, and Innovations. He is also a renowned edupreneur, industrialist, and philanthropist.

- Mr Ravi Pachamoothoo is an ardent traveller and enjoys travelling across the world. Travelling allows him to experience the working nuances of industries and enterprises that could be incorporated into the Group’s activities and set them apart as leaders in the relevant fields.
- Mr Ravi Pachamoothoo has a Midas’ touch in whichever venture he enters and turns around in a quick time. He is very well-connected across India, loves to meet people and mentors young entrepreneurs.
AWARDS AND ACCOLADES
In recognition and appreciation for his contribution towards the field of Education, Hospitality and dedicated Medical Service amid the pandemic, Shri Ravi Pachamootho has been awarded “LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD 2021” by the Rotary Club of Maraimalai Nagar.
The World Tamil Organization (UK) and its partner organizations honoured Shri Ravi Pachamuthu with “The Lifetime Achievement Award in Medicine for a Lifelong Commitment to Build Better Healthcare & Innovation in Heath Tech Through leadership, Sustainability, Ethics and Corporate Governance” in 2019.
The World Tamil Organization (UK) and its partner organizations honoured Shri Ravi Pachamuthu with “The Lifetime Achievement Award in Medicine for a Lifelong Commitment to Build Better Healthcare & Innovation in Heath Tech Through leadership, Sustainability, Ethics and Corporate Governance” in 2019.
He has recently been conferred the “Dharma Dharana” award by ‘Sudesi,’ a leading international magazine, for his contribution to society.
Education Excellence Award 2012 conferred by Brands Academy.

Mrs Meenakshi Rajagopal
Advisor of Chiron Skill program Development
Mrs Meenakshi Rajagopal-IAS(R) – Advisor of Chiron Skill program Development Pvt. Ltd., is a 1984 batch I.A.S. officer of Tamil Nadu cadre who retired from the service on 31-03-2021 after pursuing 37 yrs of career in the Indian Administrative Service. She hails from Punjab and is married to her batchmate Shri.R. Rajagopal I.A.S. (R)
She also cleared the Indian Economic Service and Reserve Bank of India Exams in the year 1984. She is a very honest, sincere officer Of Tamil Nadu and worked in various departments in different capacities in her career.
Service in Education Field
- She has served as Special Secretary, Higher Education holding Commissioner of Technical Education as Additional charge. It involved imparting training to students in I.T.I.s, Polytechnics etc.
- She has rich Experience in skill training as M.D., Tamil Nadu Corporation for Development of Women & then as Additional Chief Secretary/D.G. (training) of Tamil Nadu, Where She imparted training to over 1 lakh Rural Development and PanchayatRaj functionaries Representatives at different levels.
- She also implemented P.T.S.L.P. (Post-Tsunami Sustainable Livelihood Project) funded by I.F.A.D. (International Fund for Agriculture Development) and imparted skill training to Coastal communities.
- She also brought Tamil Nadu to one of the Best Performing States Categories during her Social Sector/I.C.D.S tenure. She is known for helping the vulnerable Sections of Society.
